Porcelain & large-format panels

Slabs that read as one piece of stone.

Porcelain slab panels are one of the most demanding things we install. The wall behind them has to be perfectly flat. The veins have to line up. The seams have to disappear. We take the time to get all three right.

The Avimor fireplace is two book-matched slabs, floor to ceiling, over a linear fire.

The part you'll never see

Tile is the last thing we do.

The same bathroom, built by two different contractors, can look almost identical the day they're finished. Five years later, only one still looks perfect. The difference is everything that happened before the tile was installed.

Sloped mortar shower pan

Flat, plumb, and square.

Tile can only be as straight as what it's sitting on. Perfect prep makes for a flawless tile installation.

Kerdi-wrapped shower with Ditra and mortar pan

A sloped pan and a full waterproofing system.

Not just a coat of something on the walls, but a system planned for function.

Porcelain slab vein detail

Layout planned in advance.

So the pattern achieves balance, focal points draw your eye, and small cuts are avoided.

The prep work may disappear behind the tile, but the feel of a perfect installation never does.

Who shows up

A certified installer, and a crew trained to the same standard.

Anyone can call themselves a tile setter. Nobody checks. So in 2023 our owner, Micah Kissee, earned the one credential the industry does have: Certified Tile Installer #1881. (The CTI test is considered the most difficult 20 square feet of tile you will ever set.)

There's a Certified Tile Installer on every tile job we do. Every team leader holds the certification. Around them, a team of master-level installers who take communication, installation, and delivery just as seriously.

For a few days to a few weeks, we're part of your household. Our goal at the end is a client who would hire us again in an instant.

How it goes

Four steps. We handle most of them.

1

Talk it through.

Call or send a quote request. We'll have a conversation to make sure the project is a fit, then set up a time to meet on site and discuss the details of your project.

2

Get it in writing.

You'll receive a proposal with every line item priced, so you can see what's behind the number.

3

Design, planning, and dates.

Together (or with one of our trusted designers) we plan every detail of your update. Once your selections are finalized, we order all materials and select a start date to begin your project.

4

Build it, walk it, enjoy it.

Day one starts with protecting your home. Pictures come off the walls in traffic areas, floors are covered, and dust walls are assembled when needed. During the project, you work with one team who shows up and leaves at the same time every day. Once the project is completed, we walk through the space detail by detail and discuss warranty coverage and care before we leave.

For builders and designers

We also build for designers and custom builders who stake their name on ours. Certified installer on site, clean job sites, dates kept. Clear communication through the whole process, and a flawless installation. This is our promise.

Before you call

Questions people ask before they call.

How much does a bathroom remodel cost?

It depends on the size of the room, the materials you choose, how much comes out, and whether plumbing moves. We walk the project first, then put every line item in writing so you can see what moves the number.

How long does a project take?

A few days to a few weeks, depending on the scope. Materials are ordered before day one, so the job doesn't stall waiting on a box of tile.

What is a Certified Tile Installer?

The tile industry's hands-on certification: a written exam plus a full day of installation graded by an evaluator. It's the standard tile manufacturers write their warranties around. Our owner holds CTI #1881, and all team members are encouraged to take the test.

Do you work with designers and builders?

Yes. We install for several local designers and builders and credit them on the projects we show.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Idaho RCE-58692, insured, and a member of the National Tile Contractors Association.

Is the work warrantied?

Every project is covered by our 2-year workmanship warranty, and enrolled in manufacturer lifetime warranties where applicable.
